Staying at Hotel Rua Frati 48 in San Francesco was an incredible experience! I was in town for the Cosmoprof fair in Bologna, and choosing this hotel was the best decision. Just a 45-minute drive from the fair, it provided the perfect balance of convenience, comfort, and luxury. The rooms are absolutely stunning—spacious, elegantly designed, and full of character. The dining experience was outstanding, with delicious food and impeccable service. But what truly made my stay special was the amazing staff—warm, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile.and they have a valet parking! After a busy day, returning to this hotel felt like coming home—serene, luxurious, and welcoming. If you’re visiting Modena or need a great place to stay for events in Bologna, I highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely return!

Beautiful, spacious and stylish. Highly recommended! Staying here was an experience in itself. Amazing kitchen, with everything you may need. Extremely clean. The bedrooms remind you of staying in a museum. Just fabulous!

Clean and good Location. Good friendly helpful staff. I don’t usually take breakfast but was good value. We found it easy to find and visit centre and Enzo Ferrari museum + shuttle to Maranello. Also near train station to pop to Bologna Saturday evening.

It was absolutely wonderful. Laura and Massimo are the kindest hosts of a truly beautiful Tuscan home. I was the only guest, and I felt not just at home — but like I was living in a dream. My room had everything I could possibly wish for: a private bathroom, a charming balcony with a stone vase, complete silence, a comfortable mattress, and top-quality linens. Every detail was carefully and lovingly thought out. And the breakfast… completely blew me away. Served in an elegant living room with soft background music, Laura prepared a meal that felt like it belonged in a Michelin-starred restaurant. Massimo brought the most delicious cappuccino. I truly felt like royalty. When I was leaving, Laura refused to accept a tip. Her words — “I do this from heart to heart” — moved me to tears. I myself have been hosting guests for many years, and I know how it usually goes. But here, for the first time, I experienced something deeply touching, something truly human. This was more than hospitality — it was a genuine opening of the heart. I’m endlessly grateful to Laura for this experience.
