The rooms were big and light and airy and clean. The pool was probably the best hotel pool I’ve ever been in. The property is only 5 mins walk into the restaurants and shopping . The hotel staff were excellent to deal with, very helpful and accommodating. it was expensive but I think we had the best room in the hotel on the very top. worth it.

My family and I stayed at Villa Uluvud for 2 weeks at the end of June. We were 6 adults and the villa was perfect for our stay. There were 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with shower facilities. There is also an outdoor shower by the pool and 2 further toilets indoors. 2 of the bedrooms have aircon and the other 2 have fans. The swimming pool is a good size and we were able to get some lengths in. The kitchen is well equipped and it was great to have the ability to try and work off some of the food eaten in the basement gym, more from a weights perspective than cardio. There’s two supermarkets within walking distance - although you may want to use a car for bulkier shops. We did have a couple of minor issues during the stay but both the owner and the property manager were really responsive and provided great service (thank you Giovanni for the little gifts). The location worked well for us. Alcamo is less touristy and more residential than other locations but we loved it. It’s also only 10-15 mins drive to the coast. Restaurant wise our favourites were Foresteria San Giacomo, Il Gattopardo and Antichi Quartieri Bistrot in Alcamo itself. We also enjoyed Osteria Qui in Castellammare del Golfo.

    The apartment room was a good size and had a nice terrace which we enjoyed sitting out on. Building was 10 steps away from main hotel. Aircon worked really well which was a blessing as the temp outside hot 30 degrees most days. Pool was lovely, not heated but so refreshing on a hot day and with lovely views. We took advantage of the couples massage and spa session. Would definitely recommend this as the massage was so relaxing and spa is beautiful. We only had breakfast in hotel once but the was a wide variety of food and view was amazing.

    Couldn’t ask for better accommodation! We had a spacious room & bathroom, everything was clean, bed was comfortable, had a little balcony for drying towels, we had coffee in the room, location was amazing, staff very friendly and helpful. Near the accommodation we parked our car for free as well. The best part was rooftop with a jacuzzi!
