Great location, a quirky accommodation option for sure. Restaurant on site is really good with great pizzas, plenty of supermarkets close by for your self catering provisions. A great (different) alternative accommodation option and whilst I wouldn’t class it as good value for money and cheaper options are available, with me being a boat owner myself, I understand the costs incurred by the owners that are associated with berthing fees, electricity and cleaning/maintenance etc.

Very easy to check in. Nina explained everything using a translation app and was very straightforward. The bathroom was new with a strong shower and the Air conditioning in the room meant we had a good nights sleep. It is located next to a forest which was super for walking the 2 dogs. The breakfast was also pre-organised by Nina so we were quite independent and there was a good selection of bread, eggs, croissants and yogurt.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The place was spotless, with every detail carefully maintained, making it feel fresh and inviting. The hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a long day. Staff were wonderful before and during our stay. Good communication and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Fresh and locally sourced where possible. A delightful, tranquil location interrupted only by chimes from the bells from the local church (stops at night!), birdsong and cuckoo calls. Gignese has bars, cafes and restaurants and is within walking distance. Stresa with its lakeside promenades, shops and many restaurants is 15-20 minute drive away.
