The villa was spotless, beautifully maintained, and even better than described. Rosa and Gabriele went above and beyond to make me feel at home, they prepared a variety of delicious breakfasts, were always available to help, and even invited me to join them and their friends for dinner. Lovely family run hotel with historical significance, commissioned by Cosimo I of Medici who was the Grand Duke of Tuscany, and part of a Renaissance fortified town. The hotel was in a valley surrounded by the beautiful hills of Romagna. The lady owner was very friendly and she and her son chatted with us on the terrace. She also gave us a lot of information about the castle's history. The breakfast was great, we could see she has made huge effort to prepare the amazing breakfast.

This small hotel was a delightful place to stay. The staff were very welcoming, the breakfast was great and we had the perfect relaxing stay that we were looking for. We also ate out at the restaurant connected to the hotel, Trattoria La Casetta which was very good too.
