The villa was spotless, beautifully maintained, and even better than described. Rosa and Gabriele went above and beyond to make me feel at home, they prepared a variety of delicious breakfasts, were always available to help, and even invited me to join them and their friends for dinner. Accommodation, was as described on the website, and it is in a rural area just south of Faenza in Emilia Romano part of north eastern Italy. Easy access to San Marino and Rimini on the coast, as well as the Ferrari museums at Maranello. Richardo, who spoke very good English, was very welcoming offering a good Italian breakfast each morning, with choices of English tea or coffee. Also, he was very helpful with places to go and finding free parking, plus any other problems which may arise, as we weren't Italian speakers.

Lovely family run hotel with historical significance, commissioned by Cosimo I of Medici who was the Grand Duke of Tuscany, and part of a Renaissance fortified town. The hotel was in a valley surrounded by the beautiful hills of Romagna. The lady owner was very friendly and she and her son chatted with us on the terrace. She also gave us a lot of information about the castle's history. The breakfast was great, we could see she has made huge effort to prepare the amazing breakfast.
