We recently stayed at Palazzo Zimara to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, with staff going above and beyond at every step to make our stay special. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a handwritten note from the staff—a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the rest of our stay. The room quality was spectacular, blending luxury and comfort seamlessly. Staying in a palazzo built in 1557 was a unique experience; the renovations beautifully preserved its historical charm while adding modern, high-end touches. Breakfast in the courtyard was a highlight, with delicious and fresh offerings that made each morning delightful. The staff were consistently attentive and friendly, making us feel truly valued as guests. The entire staff was outstanding, not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable. They kept us informed and offered excellent suggestions on where to go and what to do in and around the city. They even went the extra mile by providing tips for the next city we were staying in, making our travels even more enjoyable. If you’re considering booking at Palazzo Zimara, don’t hesitate—this place is a gem, perfect for special occasions or simply indulging in a luxurious getaway. Highly recommended!

The palazzo is a jewel in Lecce located in a prime location wirh besutiful decor. Miriam the owner is the most gracious, friendly and outstanding host. All the team made us feel at home and were very welcoming and friendly. Any guesr would definitely want to go back.

The property is located in an ideal location adjacent to the incredible historical town of Lecce. You are walking distance from all the attractions and restaurants plus it’s great location to find easy parking if you’re with a car. Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I arrived at the hotel. From the lovely/stately/historic Lecce street where it is located, there is hardly any marking to indicate the hotel exists. Instead, there is a huge historical door. Thankfully, the staff answered my phone call and came out to meet me within 10 seconds! OK, then imagine my reaction when they opened the huge palazzo doors and I walked into a stone courtyard that was converted into a delightful lobby. The palazzo’s front facade rises up in front of me. What a place! Then, I’m immediately served my choice of beverage while my bags are taken to my room and the amazing team begins to share the story of this unique property which is centuries old and yet recently totally remodeled. The property’s current ownership family has roots in Lecce but also in the art world of Paris. So, interesting pieces of great art are all around and the family even has a separate art museum in town! My room is lovely, spacious, and luxurious. Great amenities of every type. I didn’t see any other rooms but my room had a “city view” - and what a view it was! Looking out over the other buildings and rooftops, church steeples, etc. Don’t get me started on the other indoor common living room and dining room areas! So tasteful and luxurious! I would just come there to sit and read - such a pleasure. Speaking of sitting and reading, my rooms’ view was outdone only by the rooftop bar, terrace and small plunge pool! Views of the entire historical center! Truly delightful. The hotel’s location is right smack in the middle of the most lovely part of Lecce’s historical district. A stone’s throw from, in my opinion, the town’s most lovely piazza and church - along with restaurants and bars everywhere. The staff was outstanding. Great recommendations. When exploring that region, I would just call and get “live” advice and reservations etc.

This is a place of history and will remarks a beautiful memory on each soul who visit . A soulful place built by heart. The atmosphere and energy are amazing , and true, even the walls here , have a heart. Came on mid May 2024, as a group of friends of 3 , during the soft opening period I think as they are just open recently if I am not mistaken. The Spa, Library and Cinema Room still on renovation but Beatrice , the founder n owner of this place gave me a sneak preview and also took a little tour on each room who have their own designs and uniqueness. We also had a woman to woman chat on motherhood. So beautiful. Will be come back for sure not only to try the facilities, but also for making another remarkable memories and stay longer off course. All the staffs , Matteo, Maya and teams also welcome us as if we are part of their family too and customised our need. Best of the best accomodation that we choose from this early summer trip .     Incredible apartment that will leave you speechless. It is equipped with everything you may need. All fixtures and fittings are of the highest standard and it is furnished with great taste and attention to details. Bright and spacious (2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, 1 balcony and a terrace), it is two minutes from the town centre with free parking available nearby. The little cherry on the cake? The rooftop terrace with a hot tub, kitchen and a further bedroom. Yes, there are stairs in the flat, but they literally lead to heaven!

    I loved the central location and the historic setting. The roof terrace was absolutely brilliant for relaxing and sunbathing. There were sun loungers as well as chairs. The added bonus of the mini bar was great, especially for enjoying a drink on the terrace before dinner! The accommodation was exceptionally clean.
