The property was located on the Lecco lake and very close to the shopping streets and restaurants. From the balcony you can see a bit of the lake. The kitchen is very well equipped. The bathroom has a jacuzzi and an en-suite wash room with everything you need for washing clothes. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We really appreciated the little bag with shower gel, shampoo and body cream left for every guests on their bed.Everything was clean and tidy. The big flat screen TV with Netflix etc, was one of the nice extras. Our host Alessandro was excellent and deserve a five star rating. He was always reachable by phone and extremely helpful. He speaks very good English and goes the extra length for his guests. We needed an extra set of keys on the one occasion and he specially brought it to us in the city when we couldn’t meet him at the accommodation. We also forgot some jacket’s in the one closet that he kindly mailed to us the next day. His friendly and professional manner was greatly appreciated. All in all a great stay!

We had a truly amazing stay at this family owned establishment. It's great to see that the Gritti family runs it so well. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The room chosen was not super big but it was very clean with a great bed and the room comprised of all necessities. It had a cute little balcony to chill. The bathroom was nice and the shower quite big. We ate at the local pizzeria (also owned and run by the family). We were lucky enough to have experienced the special night where they closed off the street and had set up tables in the middle of the road. The pizza was amazing and the accompanied live music made it even more memorable. The next night we ate at the restaurant in the resort and enjoyed it a lot. We received complimentary starters, had a great pasta course (the raviolli was to die for) before we enjoyed our main courses. The local wine went with it very well. However, the view over the entire valley was the main star of the evening. We also enjoyed a full day of relaxation in the spa/wellness which has everything you need to thoroughly rest and relax. We would recommend this hotel/resort very highly to everyone looking for some authentic Italian food, service and relaxation. I'm sure we will come back at one point!

Mandello del Lario is quite literally a slice of heaven on earth, and if you choose to holiday here while visiting Lake Como look no further than this exceptional accomodation!! The accomodation itself is VERY charming, romantic, spacious and clean. Right from the very the moment you reach the green door alongside other bright coloured buildings in this picturesque town. It’s fully furnished, with a comfortable bed and great living spaces. We enjoyed mornings in the courtyard having our coffee listening to the church bells in the distance. The washing machine works very well and there is a good size clothes horse to dry items on! Staying here, you will be a very short walk to a number of gorgeous coffee shops, the ferry, a great gelato bar, excellent bakery, the local beach club and a number of restaurants dotted about. Alberto greeted us and was super friendly. Vanessa was so helpful over the few days we stayed, providing local recommendations for boat hire and a taxi. Prior to our arrival, the hosts contacted us to let us know the trains weren’t running from Lecco and that we’d have to get a connecting bus. It’s not just the standard things these hosts accomodate or think of - they truly went beyond to make the stay so comfortable. We have memories that will last a lifetime from Mandello, including our stay at this gorgeous accomodation and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Our stay at the villa was unforgettable. The panoramic view of the lake, sunsets and mountains took our breath away daily. The villa is spacious, very clean, and perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay, whether you’re a family or a group of friends. Even though the weather was spring-like, the warm outdoor pool with jacuzzi features made it a joy to swim and relax throughout the day. The kitchen had everything we needed, and both sauna and hammam were great highlights. I can also mention outdoor sauna with a view over Como and mountains, from which you can go into relatively cold plunge/shower also outdoors - and then back to sauna to enjoy the view and relax. The villa is peacefully located right on the lakefront. There was a barbecue area, though we didn’t get a chance to use it. Special thanks to Alizée for being so attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The sweets for breakfast were delicious! The only downside? Time passed too quickly — we truly didn’t want to leave!
