We love its atmosphere, stunning views, amazing nature that surrounds us, and last but not least - super friendly and always smiling owners Pietro and Barbara. We’ve been in Podere Calvaiola for the third time now and definitely it won’t be our last one. Everytime we leave this place we don’t say goodbye, we say see you soon and we keep our promise! Podere Calvaiola is a perfect spot for everyone who appreciates great design and architecture combined with birds chirping in the morning and amazing Tuscany panoramas.

The room was absolutely wonderful, very spacious, open and clean. They left a couple nice touches for our arrival: a bottle of Prosecco and some balloons with writing “love”. The kitchen and bathroom were newly renovated, very comfortable and very clean. The jacuzzi inside the room was great and very relaxing - super easy to use. The room is part of Agriturismo Le Ville, which has a great outside pool and nice view of the countryside. It was super quiet and idillic. The windows had mosquito nets so we could keep them open at night. The parking was close by and comfortable to reach. Each room has an outside terrace to enjoy staying outside. The owner Natasha was very kind and gave us great tips for dinner and for some spots to sightsee and was always reachable for question via WhatsApp message. The agriturismo is very easy to reach with Google maps, 20 minutes by car from San Gimignano, 30 minutes from Volterra and 30-45 minutes from Siena. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

The location was like in a fairy tale. Cute stone house, beautifully landscaped surroundings, peace, you could hear the birds singing, ... A good starting point for short trips to nature or sightseeing. The host was very friendly and helpful. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer and try out jacuzzi ;)

Castello di Casole is a destination hotel - car, taxi or helicopter are the only ways to it. This is part of what makes it great, set in the Tuscan hillside with beautiful landscapes all sides the hotel affords the just under 40 rooms guest a tranquil relaxing place to stay. Service is exceptional, the food is even better. Castello di Casole is not the cheapest hotel by any means but you get what you pay for.

Once a 15th-century Franciscan monastery, Chiostro Delle Monache is just outside Volterra's Etruscan walls, next to the Presidio Ospedaliero Santa Maria Maddalena hospital.

Best location! Center of the city. But quiet safety and clean place. Very convenient everywhere you want to go.
