it's an incredible experience. Well, first of all, I was alone not only in the room, but it seemed like in the whole monastery)). It was very warm, excellent linen. Friendly reception. Everyone speaks English perfectly and ready to help with any question. Unfortunately, the restaurant closed in winter, but I was able to enjoy the frescoes of the refectory during breakfast. I left my car in the free parking near the monastery and walked to Volterra. It took about 15 minutes.

Dating back to the 11th century, Leon Bianco is in Piazza della Cisterna, one of San Gimignano’s main squares. During summer, breakfast is served on the quiet, relaxing terrace.

We loved everything about this property. It is just like the pictures, beautiful and spacious with stunning outdoor areas. A quick 5-10 min drive to Certaldo where we caught 1hr trains to both Florence and Pisa. Also very close to San Gimignano and Volterra (which was our favourite). We stayed in the 3 level apartment (with hot tub on the top level), which we highly recommend! Our host, Andrea, met us at the property and was very kind and helpful! The stay in Alessandra's accommodation was simply exceptional. We fell in love with this house at first sight. It is a completely new and tastefully decorated house. Its decoration is beautiful in every small detail, as if it was decorated by a professional interior decorator. The quality of all items and accessories is at the highest level. The house is very comfortable and equipped with everything you need and even more. An additional advantage is the spa, with a sauna and jacuzzi. Alessandra is an excellent hostess and the contact with her was also very good. We loved the whole stay, which became even more wonderful thanks to staying in this beautiful house. The room was absolutely wonderful, very spacious, open and clean. They left a couple nice touches for our arrival: a bottle of Prosecco and some balloons with writing “love”. The kitchen and bathroom were newly renovated, very comfortable and very clean. The jacuzzi inside the room was great and very relaxing - super easy to use. The room is part of Agriturismo Le Ville, which has a great outside pool and nice view of the countryside. It was super quiet and idillic. The windows had mosquito nets so we could keep them open at night. The parking was close by and comfortable to reach. Each room has an outside terrace to enjoy staying outside. The owner Natasha was very kind and gave us great tips for dinner and for some spots to sightsee and was always reachable for question via WhatsApp message. The agriturismo is very easy to reach with Google maps, 20 minutes by car from San Gimignano, 30 minutes from Volterra and 30-45 minutes from Siena. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

The first booking was for 3 nights, after arriving we received a warm welcome from Maria (the owner) she handed us the key and the remote of the gate. We went inside and we were flabbergasted by the sheer amount of space this apartment provided for the price. Big kitchen, big living room and 2 large rooms with separate bathrooms. The house is decorated with classical furniture and breathes peacefulness and serenity. The garden is large and opposite of the apartment lives Maria with her family. The garden gives a nice view of the winery and hills in the distance. Everything was clean and nice, so nice that we extended our stay with 2 extra nights. Certaldo is a 12 min drive from the apartment and provides everything you need, good restaurants, and a big COOP supermarket. From Certaldo you can go to Siena and Florence by train, parking is free at the station. Do not hesitate to stay here it's a wonderful apartment in a beautiful place.
