The house is very big and comfortable, close to the train station and a big shopping mall. The host is very kind and welcomed us with water and snacks. I was very impressed and will definitely come back to stay here again. We really like it here.

This was a great place to stay to experience a more traditional ryokan. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and it was wonderful to relax in the onsen. The breakfast was also delicious. Highly recommend for a peaceful stay near Mt Fuji

This was the perfect place to relax and get my nature fix after a few days in Tokyo. The double room I had was very spacious with a comfy bed and gorgeous views. Hana was a wonderful host, super friendly and helpful. Location-wise, it's quite remote, but Hana picked me up from the train station and even gave me a lift to the supermarket along the way to get some food/provisions. I rented an e-bike from her for a very reasonable day rate, which was ideal for exploring the area, with recommendations of where to go and see.

We had the most wonderful two nights at this guest house and truly recommend it - it’s an absolute hidden gem! The house is situated in the countryside with a perfect view of Mount Fuji. We booked both the room with a king-sized bed and Fuji view, as well as the superior room, since we were a family of four. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The shared bathroom is well organized by the hosts. There are two toilets, both equipped with traditional Japanese amenities. The hosts are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. Since the guest house is a bit outside Fujinomiya, they offer a shuttle service to pick you up at Shin-Fuji Station. On the way to the guest house, the host kindly offered to stop at a local supermarket so we could buy some supplies. When we arrived, we were greeted with homemade Thai jelly with cream and iced green tea - it was delicious. At check-in, we mentioned that it was our wedding anniversary. Later that day, we were pleasantly surprised with some cake to celebrate - such a thoughtful gesture that really touched us. They offer two types of breakfast: Western style or Japanese/Thai style. We chose the Japanese/Thai option and highly recommend it - it’s a unique experience, very tasty, costs 800 Yen per person, and is definitely worth it. If you plan to visit the Fuji area, we strongly recommend booking this accommodation.

Stunning location (we did have a very cloudy few days but saw the silhouette of Mount Fuji on the last day). Beautiful and quiet neighbourhood. While public transport is very good (there's a bus stop a 5 minute walk away), having a hire car would be recommended due to the distance from grocery stores.

Kur and Hotel Suruga offers accommodation in Shizuoka. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. There is a 24-hour front desk at the property.

The onsen is excellent. There is so many to choose from. As for the food, there is a very good selection and it's reasonably priced. There is a restaurant at the top level where you may see Mount fuji on a clear day.

This was the highlight of our journey around Japan. It is a beautiful, friendly and welcoming place in the countryside. The staff and owner are lovely and made us feel very welcome and at ease from the beginning. The quality of the food is excellent. The room was also comfortable and spacious with access to the beautiful onsen. We came here with our two children and found plenty to do nearby. You will need to use a combination of taxis and trains, but there is plenty in the local area.

Very reasonable price with cleanest condition, good facilities and nice hosts. The vibe makes me feel like living at my grandmother’s house. I will come here to stay next time.
