The room was very clean, spacious by Japanese standards, and offered serene traditional atmosphere blended seamlessly with modern conforms. There was a terrace with a beautiful view adding on to the comfort of the room. The dinner was traditional Japanese-style and for sure it should not be missed! The multi-course kaiseki meal was beautifully presented and very delicious, including fresh, local, seasonal ingredients. The hotel's location is good for visiting the Itsukushima Torii (Water gate) as it is just one station away from it but at the same time away from the madness of the island.

Amazing experience from the traditional breakfast to the beautiful japanese style rooms. The staff was very kind, helpful and polite. They even helped me book tickets for the ferry. Great stay overall.

The location was alittle outside the city centre but it can be accessed with the city tour bus easily that runs several buses, until 6pm. The breakfast was good and the facilities were exceptional.
