Wonderful staff, very patient with a non Japanese speaker. Traditional room is lovely, comes with a complimentary yukata (4 sizes available) to wear around town to the baths and a pass that gives you 26 hours access to all the baths. Super convenient to the train station and still close to everything else. Amazing breakfast and dinners. I hope to come back in the future!

Traditional Japanese room, which means everything is floor level and the pillows are made of buckwheat kernels. The room was spacious, comfortable but not luxurious. The bath was very nice, so was the pond and garden, and the dinner I reserved was excellent. A shuttle bus operates from 4pm to the onsen in town but it’s a short walk. It’s quite a large hotel.
