A very cosy hotel. The Japanese style room is clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast has plenty of food. The hot spring is very nice. The staffs are very friendly. Very close to Matsumoto Castle. As a bonus, there is a light show in the Castle, which is amazing.

Great breakfast. The location is incredible. They had a bike rental service, which allowed me to explore more of the area. The staff was very helpful and took the time to explain what I needed to know.

The completely non-smoking Ryokan Matsukaze is just 10-minute walk or a 5-minute drive from JR Matsumoto Train Station. The ryokan offers simply furnished Japanese rooms with futon beds.

It is really beautiful, the beds are comfortable, it was in the center and close to the station. The owner is so kind , there was some work in the bathroom so we couldn’t use it, we could only shower (which is already great) but she took us to the onsen for free so we could relax and take a bath! After the onsen she took us to an izakaya where we ate with super nice people. We had a really good night, thanks to the great house and the caring owner, we recommend !

I think it was the best balance between comfort location and price. My friends and I got a triple room and honestly it was perfect. It is 10 min walking from Matsumoto main street and train station. We also loved it a lot because during the week no one else was there so we had the whole place for ourselves! Would definitely recommend
