We were unaware that breakfast was included, so that was a lovely surprise. The property is set in a beautiful location, a short walk to the restaurants and ski fields. The hosts were amazing, and very helpful with assisting us with onsen and restaurant bookings.

The dinner exceeded expectations - about 9 courses that provided a good variety of Japanese cuisine, from fresh seafood to local beef varieties. The property itself also provided so many options to relax, including reading areas and on-site onsens.

Excellent establishment, we enjoyed our stay tremendously. The room was very cozy and clean. The environment was peaceful and calming. We enjoyed the spring bath too! The hotel offers a shuttle car to pick up and drop you off at the nearest station which is very convenient. We were welcomed by very kind staff who made our stay extra nice. Thank you! We particularly love its antique Japanese taste. The inside bedroom and restrooms are super clean. The location is super good. Easy to travel within the village. You may feel the setting of the entrance passage looks like a movie setting. It will give you special memories years later when you look back now.

The ryokan provides transport pick up n drop off from the Zao Onsen bus terminal. All staff from driver, front desk to dining employees were very polite, obliging and provided very good customer service. Dinners n breakfasts were excellent and hosted in private rooms. Snow boots were loaned free. We used the private family onsen (first come first serve basis) for 40 mins and thoroughly enjoyed the sulphur spring water.
