First of all we want to thanks to Mr.Mervin and his lovlely wife.Megabe Villa is safest and cleanest hotel that you can find in Galle.Mr.Mervin is great guy who can tell very detailed information about nature, herbs, fauna and galle city.Also he did his best for protection us from scams.We really loved him and his wife.They were soo kind and as a hosts they were great.Room was clean like a our home.Quiet and peacefull place, eating near river was crazy good.We will miss them a lot.We strongly recommend this place to anyone. Staying at Mindara Villa felt like a homecoming. As a fellow Sri Lankan, I truly appreciated the warm, genuine hospitality we received .The owner and staff were friendly and kind, never pushy or money minded, always ready to help with a smile. Our Lotus room was modest but more than comfortable ,air-conditioned, clean private bathroom, balcony/garden-view and a peaceful ambience ,just what we needed after bustling beach days. The villa itself, with its garden, terrace/balcony options and pool access , gave us a quiet, relaxing retreat away from noise perfect for winding down. On top of that, all essential comforts were there: good bed and linens, free Wi-Fi, private parking, and friendly, down to earth service. I felt respected and welcomed .Not treated as a guest paying for luxury, but as someone visiting family. For anyone seeking a restful, friendly and authentically Sri Lankan stay in Unawatuna with warmth, comfort and fairness .I wholeheartedly recommend Mindara Villa.

A piece of pure paradise with incredible staff , beautiful surroundings , elegant touches everywhere from the divine bed linen , super comfortable beds to the furniture pieces ( I just adore the bar ) . It was hard to leave that tropical pool area and feeling of being pampered by the friendliest and most helpful staff - they are all an asset to the property . Right from picking us up from the airport after a cyclone greeted us with a huge delay and rain but still Amila was very patient enough as we were travelling with a newborn and a child. Photo’s absolutely don’t do justice to this beautiful place. Woke up a to a good skies day after a massive rainy night and we were woken up by peacocks and birds all around the villa. An amazing infinity pool into nature.Stunning views from the all rooms , balconies and bathrooms. Would definitely come back in the future. Not to forget the amazing food they serve for breakfast , lunch and their BBQ. Amila was the best in comforting us right from the start to end of our whole trip.
