The exceptional stylish and comfortable accommodation and beautiful gardens complimented the stunning views to Horton Plains NP , Udawalawe reservoir and the south coast . You awake each morning to the sound of birds while during the day it is so peaceful and relaxing . Thankfully no aircon needed here since the very fine insect screens allowed windows to be open to enjoy the fresh mountain air. We stayed in the deluxe suite downstairs which now has an additional dining area , and there are 3 lovely rooms upstairs . See the gorgeous pictures online . You can take a dip in the lovely pool or the owner Munira can suggest and help arrange other activities in the surrounding areas. Having driven for 5 weeks, this was a perfect spot to unwind . It was lovely to chat with Muni who built this wonderful property and all the staff who extended friendly and caring hospitality . Our best stay in Sri Lanka . Thank you Muni!

The staff were beautiful people, very helpful and accommodating. The views are splendid. The FOOD IS THE BEST PART. Amazing buffets, im usually not a fan of buffet, but they were real good. They spoil you rotten. I felt like being within the property only instead of going out.

Very nice place with many little nooks and corners with nice couches to relax and read a book. Comfortable bedrooms and breakfast options. We used this as a base to travel to ella by train, The staff are extremely helpful I wanted some steam to inhale, they organised the steam and also offered some herbs to add to the steam. Will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Amazing place, definitely worth spending some nights here. Beautiful location, wonderful cottages with perfect finish, great food, and most of all, lovely people.

Where do I start. This place is absolutely AMAZING.The attention to detail in everything from room presentation to meals to staff and owners is impeccable. I cannot speak highly enough of everything and everyone. Please don’t be put off by the 17m2 room advertising as the size is double that with butiful outdoor setting and an added private jacuzzi. We fell in love with this place and didn’t want to leave.!!!

It was a perfect stay for one night away for me and my wife. The staff was very friendly, the room was very clean and big space, very comfortable beds. Breathtaking view from my room. If I didn't have a busy schedule I'd stay for a few days. Perfect place for a peaceful stay.

This place is a hidden gem in the mountains for nature lovers away from busy Ella. There is a beautiful view, also on the famous train, very quiet and private. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing. The cottage has two big comfy beds. Highly recommended. You need a car or take a tuktuk to come there.
