The villa is brand new, the pool also! The facility is stunning. Our bathroom was very wide and beautiful. The villa is cozy and also located in the jungle. I think this is the best place we’ve stayed in Sri Lanka!!! The breakfast was made by our host and his wife, very delicious! Caretaker-Haresh and his wife Ireshika are amazing the give some gift also to us , we really remember our stay in this place thankful to them, they did the best experience ever! Also Ireshika told us a lot of stories about the culture and the religion, we love that! Everything was perfect! We really do recommend this place for your next trip!!!!

Our first time in Sri Lanka. We had several options to choose from, but ultimately decided on this villa and didn't regret it at all. The host was very responsive and welcoming, along with a smiling, pleasant family—his wife and son. The owner called our driver to give him directions. Upon arrival, we were treated to welcome coconuts from his garden. We were shown to our room, which took up an entire floor. We were delighted. The bathtub in the room had a beautiful view, but unfortunately, we weren't able to use it because we didn't need it. The floor around the bathtub was covered in coral and pebbles, giving the area a special vibe. The bed was enormous, with a canopy to keep out insects, but we didn't use it because the entire room was sprayed with insect repellents, and the insects didn't bother us (which isn't always available in Sri Lanka, and you have to buy and install them yourself). The air conditioning and fan are also worth mentioning. You don't always want to freeze under the air conditioner, and its noise can interfere with your sleep, so the fan was a real lifesaver. The shower in the room comes with soap and toilet paper, and there's a washing machine in the common area (his wife, Geeth, is happy to wash your clothes for free if needed). Bed linen and towels are changed frequently, but we declined because we didn't use them that much. Three towels are provided per person (for the pool, body, and face). There's an open summer kitchen, good cookware, everything you need for cooking (frying pans, pots), even a blender for smoothies, a toaster, and a coffee maker. While cooking, you can enjoy the beautiful views and sounds of wildlife. In the mornings, you can hear the chanting of monks from a nearby monastery, the views are breathtaking, and the fog drapes over the mountains. Believe me, it's beautiful. The refrigerator is spacious and large. The pool is small, but quite sufficient.

Villa Ishq is a wonderfully luxurious villa set on a beachfront location in Talpe on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. The 5 bedroom suites are very well appointed and the bathrooms are huge and beautifully designed. What sets Villa Ishq above others is the staff. Led by the villa manager Nimal the staff are both many in number and super attentive. The cuisine is superb with all the local curries cooked fresh every day. We could order almost anything which was sourced locally and cooked to perfection. We had a most wonderful time! Many thanks for hosting us!

Beautiful views and right on the beach. See Turtles 50m down the beach from the garden. Plenty of room, everything worked, great breakfast with Sri Lankan and European options. Great pool that was cleaned everyday and super comfy sun loungers with beach / pool towels provided. The staff were fantastic and Went the extra mile to print some documents I had to sign. Even a nice cool and quiet office area to work (if you have to!) Lots of nice restaurants with cocktails in walking distance including palm rope swing.
