Super place! Facility in a gated community. Great equipped kitchen, nice terrace and small private pool! Two air conditioners. Very quiet all around! In the morning at breakfast we were even visited by a small aguti. Great contact with the owner, you can talk to him about everything. He is very helpful and understanding. I respect such people very much! I would love to come back here when I am in Mexico again.

Ikalar is so beautiful and extraordinary that words cannot describe it. I have never seen something like this before on planet earth. Everything was built with so much love, beauty, phantasy and in perfect harmony with nature and the cosmos. Thank you Andres for being a role model how creativity could flow into architecture. The facilities at this property were absolutely fantastic, offering us countless enjoyable moments by the nearby beaches and pool areas. The hotel staff, especially the housekeepers, were incredibly kind and attentive, making our stay feel like a dream come true—an experience that exceeded all expectations. The added charm of spotting monkeys, lizards, raccoons, and coatis throughout the hotel grounds made it even more magical. It was truly an unforgettable experience!

    The staff were exceptional!!!! They did everything they could to make our stay perfect. We got a room upgrade for our anniversary and booked a romantic dinner with them which was beautiful. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and always go the extra mile! We had a junior suite with direct beach access and whirlpool. The room was great and super comfortable. You don't need to book a table at any of the restarants and the buffet is big and easy to find something for everyone to like.

    Cozy and green hotel area with lots of birds and funny animals. The service was excellent and friendly. The evening program was of high quality and the a la carte restaurants had excellent food. The buffet food was also good and the tables were overflowing with different dishes. The renovated Premium Superior room was wonderful. It was spacious and functional and had two bathrooms/toilets. The hotel was close to Akumal's turtle beach, where we went snorkeling. Historical sites and cenotes are also easily accessible from this hotel.
