The location is near the main road so it's easy to hop on the collectivo to Puerto Escondido. Also near the promenade at the beach The pool and terrace are cool. But the terrace is high up just a small rooftop not front of the room as it seems on the photo in fact is quite useless. There were 2 very powerful fans in the room which was great. The hotel is divided in two parts, the cheaper one with basic rooms (cyclopes) I was in and the main part with I suppose better rooms. The nights were very noisy - street noise and birds on the roof directly above me. The main problem were huge yellow ants crawling on the walls.

We were made to feel welcome from the very moment we arrived, the guys who work there are so friendly and laid back - and offered us the chance to leave our bags or change and shower before checking in later that day. The site is super relaxed, a beautiful pool and different areas to sit. The room was incredible too, huge bed with air con and a fan and tv, great shower and kitchen facilities too. All round a great vibe, we only stayed one night but could have happily stayed for a week and made the most of the pool!
