Tamarind Villa is everything they advertised, and more! The pictures don’t capture the tranquility and confront why family and I experienced during our stay. The vila is located 15 min from most famous beaches, we rented a car that allowed us to explore the island.

Our recent 5-night stay at The Danna Langkawi was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a world of elegance and exceptional service that truly sets this hotel apart as one of the best in the world. The design and decoration of The Danna are absolutely stunning, with an elegant blend of colonial charm and modern luxury. Every detail, from the grand lobby to the meticulously designed rooms, exudes sophistication and comfort. The ambiance throughout the hotel is both relaxing and invigorating, making every moment spent here a joy. The staff at The Danna Langkawi deserve special mention for their outstanding service. They were incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring that our stay was perfect. Their hospitality made us feel welcome and valued from start to finish. Each day was filled with delightful experiences, whether we were lounging by the beautiful infinity pool, enjoying the exquisite cuisine at the hotel's restaurants, or simply relaxing in our well-appointed room. I don't often write reviews, but it would be a shame not to share my experience at the Ritz-Carlton Langkawi and recommend this fantastic place to everyone. Everything was perfect—impeccable services, attention to detail, well-equipped rooms, friendly staff always ready to assist. The breakfast restaurant set in the jungle with a beautiful terrace offered a diverse menu and a generous buffet with very kind employees. Funny fact: during scrambled eggs and lovely capuccino we were visited by the resident monkeys, that were greeting us every morning and stealing sugar from our table. What a lovely day to start the morning! I highly recommend trying the Beach Grill restaurant, where the chef truly impressed us. Besides the excellently prepared food, he crafted a mango salad based on our preferences and on request he prepared for us a “surprise dinner" that was absolutely extraordinary. The Horizon beach bar offered us a beautiful sunset by a chilled rose wine. The music played by the Dj helped the perfect atmosphere along with the fresh and luxurious food. The Chinese restaurant by the ocean, with its elegant design and impeccable food, added to the overall excellence. I used the spa services twice, with the 120-minute massage rituals, used one hou before the facilities like the sauna and jacuzzi, and I left from there relaxed and speechless. At some point we did a walk in the jungle with a guide provided by the hotel. Of course the hike was beautiful, we’ve reached a private beach with a great view, but more than that, we were impressed with the young guide, vast culture and full of knowledge and also his perfect English. Many thanks to Mia, which offered us a perfect lovely evening and a memory that we cannot forget.

Absolutely amazing stay! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The service was outstanding and the owner went above and beyond. He was always just one call away and ready to help with anything we needed. The villa itself was spotless and so beautifully kept. Normally, when I travel, I always wear slippers in hotels or villas, but here my whole family felt completely comfortable walking around barefoot. That’s how clean it was! We felt right at home and couldn’t be happier with our experience.
