Where do I start.. everything was just so wonderful!! At first it was a little hard to find the house because the street leading to Huize Koempoelan is quite easy to overlook and Google maps lead our car in a completely different direction - but as we found the right street we were just amazed to see the house very nicely embedded in nature and surrounded by pretty green trees and meadows. Everything looked way better than expected compared to the shown pictures and we were just blown away! Huize Koempoelan is a place where the hosts planned every tiny detail from beginning to start. You can really see all the love that was put into making this house. The garden is designed in such a nice way with the options to go swimming in a natural pool, sit at a fireplace (or even try out a jacuzzi or sauna if opened) or just watch the sunset from a picture perfect bench on a hill. There were also horses and a super cute dog making the whole atmosphere very idyllic. Just a perfect spot you would search for as a city hide away. The interior of the house is so lovely and the hosts really have a great taste in style. We just loved all the furniture in our room which was very high quality and thought through and everything was just perfectly matching with one another. When we came to our room we got a fresh pressed juice as a welcome drink which was really nice. We felt very welcomed by the hosts who were doing everything they could to make our visit so beautiful. The room we had was very big and had a balcony where we could sit on and the bathroom was also very modern and nicely designed. We also want to highlight the delicious breakfast we got everyday. It was so nicely arranged and the hosts again thought of every little detail here and made it completely vegetarian for us. We definitely can recommend Huize Koempoelan for a romantic getaway for the weekend! Again thank you so much to the wonderful hosts :)

Everything was perfect just what I needed

Overall we had a really good experience. As a group of 6, with 2 small children, we had everything we needed. Too bad we couldnt make use of the swimmingpool because of the weather, but the facilities were great. It was also very convenient for us that the Centerparcs facilities (like restaurants and minimarket) were on walking distance.

Fantastic stay, beautiful surroundings and amazing service. Perfect to wind down. Best part was the outside kitchen / veranda and garden.

Elles was a wonderful, warm and very responsive host. To connect with her and her husband was always so easy and inspiring, Even just entering the terrain en to be welcomed by them as well as all the lovely animals on the farm made all our tiredness from traveling go away. The home to stay really is a delight, and also very inspiring when it comes to thinking of innovative ways to use materials and to treat the environment in a sustainable way. But above all, this has been a home away from home for us. The perfect place to rest after a long journey, amidst the peace of a "stiltegebied" (silence area) with endless fields stretching out as far as they eye can see. Far exceeded our expectations and loved as well how Elles made us a wonderful, delicious and wholesome breakfast even though we requested it only last-minute. Thank you so much for a wonderful time! Great Location, with lots for the kids to do on the site. Looking forward to stay again.

Really nice, comfortable, clean and private accomodation. The perfect place for us to get out the city and enjoy the Sauna and Hottub... Joyce was super friendly and hospitable and went out her way to make our stay special. There some animals on the property and we even managed to get some fresh eggs for breakfast the next day. The place comes with a tandem bike which we used to go for a cycle to a small recommended restaurant (falafel&zo) which was also great. The Hottub was preheated when we got there and the Sauna worked really well too. We used it as a break to get out of the city and found it perfect. We will definatley be back and highly reccomend it.
