United StatesWhat a charming little spot! We only spent a night here but I would gladly go back. We had dinner in the restaurant but the self catering facilities were really nice, and our twin room was very cute and comfortable. We used their track transport service for the Caples-Greenstone track and it could not have been smoother and more convenient….our little rental car would have definitely not enjoyed a couple of the fords on the way.

Appreciate how they cater to all price points - I was in a dorm, but still delightful. Bathrooms were great, warm showers with soap. Kitchen was under renovations but I’m sure it’ll be great too and they have a few picnics tables that would be fantastic in the summer. Tons of amazing hikes near by. They also rent bikes. The only “negative” points: no rental of kayaks, just guided tours, and not available when we were there, breakfast is quite pricy, there is a long gravel road to get there, so it depends what vehicle you’re driving. The rooms we stayed in were newly refurbished and excellently appointed. The shared bathrooms were spotless. The hosts were brilliant, warm, welcoming, engaging and amazing cooks.
