We had a wonderful time at the ashley. The beds were really comfy, the extra blanket was required though. We especially loved the friendly staff on the evening we arrived and the meal in the dining room was great value.

Breakfast was amazing! Our hosts prepared such a wide spread for us to choose from. The location was beautiful and serene, and we loved interacting with the hosts and other guests over drinks. Our hosts constantly went the extra mile and even brought us on a tour to the beachfront.

Wonderful secluded location, surrounded by green and birds, close to sea. The cabin is comfy and well equipped; we BBQ-ed a couple of times, just because it was so nice to stay in and enjoy the sun slowly setting across the sea. For supplies it’s a relatively short drive to Greymouth. The cabins are self check-in, well organized, but we would have preferred to meet the owners and have a chat. Instead we got to meet the neighbor, Steven, on his way to his daily dip in the sea and had a lovely chat about all sorts! Made our day! Hope to return again some day!
