Beautiful place to stay, you have everything you need, including a full kitchen, smart tv, comfortable bed. You can park in front of the door and it is walking distance from all the restaurants. We had a lot of rain while we were here and we were so happy we were staying in such a comfortable place.

We liked Bellrock Lodge and this little village so much, we even extended our stay! :) It is worth staying longer in Kororareka Russell and especially at Bellrock Lodge, so let us tell you why: Bellrock Lodge is situated on a little hill (if you walk, there are a few steep meters) and because of that, you will have the most amazing views from your terrace over the coast. On clear days you will even see as far as Waitangi. The apartment and the terrace are quite spacious, even the bathroom offers more than usual space in rental properties. It is very nice equipped. The garden is beautiful so you also see beautiful garden greenery from the terrace. The hosts Catherine and Stuart are very kind and responded fast via WhatsApp. Their sweet dog Piper was also a great host and excited to offer play time with her favorite football and such :D Catherine and Stuart were always very hospitable, so for instance, if you get in a morning rain like us, getting new towels is easy peasy, just a message/call away ;-) The Lodge offers great amendities: laundry, dryer, DVD Library (great selection, we loved it), CD and Book Library aswell... To top it off, the Whirlpool and BBQ area are great, with superb views also. We loved to enjoy the Spa, especially on rainy days. In addition to that, we highly appreciated how thoughtful everything is equipped, there are umbrellas in the driveway, wineglasses from plastic for the Spa, different chairs (even comfy reading/TV chairs), more than 2 different towel sizes and many more things like that.. We have travelled a lot and Bellrock Lodge is one of our favorites. You nearly forget, that you are at a self-service accomendation because everything is so thoughtfully done. Thank you Catherine & Stuart! P.s. It is worth staying longer, you can experience a lot in the area, walk to the beaches from Bellrock if you want to, get groceries and have great restaurants/cafés in town.

Amazing view, beautiful garden and very comfortable unit.... If you want to have a romantic gateaway, this is the place. Me and my partner had a fantastic time here.Swimming pool, spa in front of this spectacular view was definetly a bonus. The queen size bed was so comfortable. You can find anything you need in this beautifuly designed flat. Communication with landlord Dawn was so so easy and friendly. Thank you for the carrot cake Dawn, that was so kind of you. We will definetly come back again.

Nice and clean. Swimming pool was warm in November. Right across the road from the beach. Big spacious bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen. Cruise to the hole in the rock and the stop at Urupukapuka Island on the way back was a highlight of the trip.

    Delphine is an attentive and considerate host. We loved the lush gardens, the immaculate interiors elegantly furnished with items from our hosts’ travels and coming home to the wood fired stove. So many extras - We could have played tennis, sat by the outdoor fire or had a spa bath if we’d wished. Plenty of breakfast options to cook as you please, at whatever time you please.

    The hostess and host were so kind and welcoming! The B&B was beautifully situated in between an orchard and a lovely garden. The tips for what to visit in the area, recommended to us by the hostess, were really good and worth visiting! The fireplace, tennis court and hot tub just completed our stay entirely. 10/10 would absolutely recommend to everyone!

    The atmosphere and surroundings were superb. Delphine and Gil went out of their way to make our stay relaxing and memorable . Their property is a true credit to them , just beautiful . It was lovely to have a space to share some stories with other travellers from all over the world.

    The amazing driveway towards the house, the jacuzzi, tennis court and most of all breakfast included. The space that you can relax with nice view and to warm yourself beside the fireplace
