Everything was exceptional. We were plesantly surprised by the layout and space of the apartment, having ample room to spread out and relax. Being right on the beach is a huge bonus and meant it was very scerene and peaceful. The hot tub was great and made star gazing a memorable experience. Host was lovely and very accomodating, easy to talk to and very helpful with local knowledge.

The view was amazing. We sat in bed in the morning drinking coffee and watching the sun rise above the mist. The spa pool is in a covered area, where you can look at the view. Beds were soft, just how we like them! Very quiet area. 😉

We couldn't fault our stay at Kiwi Cottage, communication with property owner was excellent and prompt, the place was clean and tidy, amidst rural setting so was able to enjoy the sound of native birds and witness the milky way amid vast amount of stars

Really nice people, who go out of their way to make you feel at home at this wonderful place. This is one of those places where you hope to get back to, and spend more time. The entire Whangaroa Harbour area is just plain stunning. Loved the view, the spa the pool, the modern and clean facilities and the pet friendly owner.

Absolutely fabulous location, luckily for us the owners were away and the unit next door was empty, so we had the place to ourselves. Amazing attention to detail, all the extras, drinks, snacks, herbs and spices etc in the cupboards. Couldn't have asked for more!

    Clean, spacious and beautiful location. Mangonui is around the corner and a Four Square available 3 mi utes drive away. Easy check in and check out. Ironing board, iron, laundry and oven in a good sized kitchen provided which makes it really feel like home away from home. The beach is stunning and having coffee on the balcony with the ocean view was a serene experience. We didn't get to use the hot tub or enjoy the kayaks provided as we were there for a wedding, but we plan to return for a long weekend.

    The location is stunning. The water views are exceptional, and the balconies provided an extra sense of connection with the bay. Having direct access to the beach felt extra special. Danny is an excellent host, very welcoming, friendly and accommodating of guests' needs. Our apartment was a great size and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Great kitchen and huge bathroom with a bathtub. Highly recommend.
