One of the best places I’ve ever stayed at! Staff were absolutely amazing - super friendly and extremely helpful with any inquiries. The room we stayed in as well as the whole building and surroundings are of very high quality and well looked after. The pool and spa area is just as beautiful (maybe even a little more) as you can see in the pictures and perfect for relaxing after a long morning hike. Don‘t be scared to drive down the little street to reach this absolute gem - it’s gonna be ok! :) We’d definitely come back.

The hotel is massive with multiple restaurants, bars and lounging areas. The pools were lovely! The hotel room is really spacious and we loved the bathrooms. The shower is really spacious and the marble splurged everywhere in the hotel screams luxury and opulence. The Galaxia fine dining restaurant was lovely. We chose to go a la carte and had the artisan bread, wagu beef skewer and red snapper (catch of the day). The food was delicious and worth the price if you like fine dining. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Great variety, very friendly staff and delicious food! The downstairs bar staff were amazing and we liked the love music nights. The staff are friendly, kind and really made the hotel feel more "warm" with their personalities!

The whole stay in the hotel was an exceptional experience.The expectations from the photos and reviews were high, but the reality even exceeded it. The staff was always kind, smiling, explained everything perfectly and was always helpful. My greatest admiration goes to the staff at the Rose Garden Restaurant, who even when they are busy around other guests, make your visit a unique moment. The half board accommodation was absolutely worth it. The breakfasts are rich in fresh food and the selection varied even slightly. Dinners consist of a three course menu and there is a choice in each course. However, the dining experience is beyond description, what a perfect interplay of flavours the local chefs are able to create. The cherry on top of our stay was the perfect area with nooks and crannies where one could sit and relax in peace. Madeira is a beautiful island, I would not have enjoyed my holiday so much without the quality and peaceful facilities. I will be happy to return.

An outstanding experience! The whole personnel was professional and pleasant. Breakfast was nice, I liked how they had focused on the quality instead of the quantity. Everything in the hotel was very well thought. I definitely recommend you to try the spa - such a relaxing experience! Some have criticized it for being too small, but it also means personified service and tranquility. Our room was on the top floor, and we could enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets and how they landed on the mountains from our balcony. Definitely my favourite moments from our trip.
