The breakfast was good. We enjoyed the indoor heated pool and relaxing bed/chairs. The shower was great and separate toilet area convenient. The staff were all very friendly . Quiet neighborhood and close to the highways and easy to travel to Leiria.

The location was easy to get to. The staff was friendly, the property beautiful and serene. The grounds well kept. Breakfast was superb with omeletes and eggs cooked to order on request. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and overall an excellent experience.

I highly recommend this hotel just for the simple fact that not only they take care of you going above and beyond by giving you breakfast outside the designed hours and knocking on your door with a welcome gift and giving directions to must visit points but also by their excellent customer service and home like atmosphere that makes you want to stay. Thank you Anna for the friendly conversations and for treating customers with care and respect. Spacious and comfortable. Lovely furnishings—like being in someone’s home. Nice flow of air through windows so never too warm. House is surrounded by beautiful trees, shrubs and flowers—all very well kept. A very good breakfast was provided. There was a fully equipped kitchen for guests to share. We extended our stay by a day.

From the moment we arrived at Hotel Republica we felt welcomed despite being hot and dishevelled from a big day of hiking. This was one of the most friendly receptions we have had during our two weeks in Portugal. Nothing was too much trouble, including room service provided early from the Restaurant Menu when the All Day Menu was not available. We requested an extra night and again, no problem at all. Breakfast options at the restaurant were exceptional and the service, equally as good. The coffee machine in the room was awesome, the beds luxurious and the bathroom stylish and clean. The minibar was well stocked and an abundance of room snacks were available.

A house to be away from the city, noise and confusion and have contact with fauna and flora in their natural habitat.
