Hosts were very warm, welcoming and friendly. They are the stars of this accommodation. They provided dinner and breakfast at a very reasonable rate. It was the best dinner I've eaten in our nearly 3 weeks in Portugal! The breakfast was also excellent. The room was simple but comfortable. We highly recommend this accommodation and would definitely stay there again if we were passing through the area again.

The room, restaurant and swimming pool were all excellent. The food in the restaurant was amazing value and the staff were all very attentive. The scenery was stunning and we had a lovely circular walk on the small roads and tracks. We would have liked longer than one night here. We must give a shout out to Catia on reception. We were concerned about our next booking in Northern Spain. She was so helpful and reassuring after she was unable to contact the apartment owner. You were right Catia, all was fine and you are a star.

What an amazing place. Our hosts were excellent and helpfull as our trip began badly, travel to portugal was meant to arrive at Porto at 8am but didnt arrive there till 10.45 pm then pick up hire car and travel to Casinha do quadro we didnt arrive till 01:30 the next morning way past check in time but our hosts were very understanding and helpfull. The place itself is exceptionally clean, everything you need is there, the kitchen is really well equiped and its really nice what you see in photos of property is there no filtered pics. Beds are comfortable and we both slept like logs, shower has good pressure and really hot water. Furnishing through the whole place is really good, very comfortable relaxing place to stay. Situated up in the hills its very quiet with great views and late at night we could hear deer calling each other but only when outside, did get to see a stag running through woods once during the day. A five minute drive to nearest village/town for Auchan, coffee shops and chemist. If your looking to relax with peace and quiet yet close enough to main roads for exploring other areas of Portugal (Tomar is lovely) this is an ideal place to stay. We drove around and visited Tomar, Albufura, Nazare, Lisbon and Coimbra to name a few.
