Everything was perfect. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, separate cupboards for the food of each room. Our private bathroom had a big tub for nice hot baths and there was a separate toilet downstairs. Comfy beds and super clean. We had a great stay!

I stayed only one night in this location. The apartment is located in a very quiet area and equipped with everything you need to feel at home. Evgenia and Michael were superhosts. A bottle of wine, biscuits and some vegetables from their garden awaited us in the apartment. We felt very comfortable in their house and benefited from the recommendations received to visit the surroundings. I recommend this accommodation and if we visit Madeira again we will probably come back to you

Lovely big comfy bed, great bathroom, bath robes, enormous flat screen TV, minifridge/bar, delicious breakfast with lots of choice, restaurant also great for snacks & meals...the food was delicius! We requested a kettle that was provided without any bother. Nice wee balcony and furniture outside to relax. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very close to Busstop.

We were looking for somewhere special to celebrate our 20th anniversary, but didn’t want to stay in a big, impersonal hotel, and it was just what we had hoped. The hotel combines traditional with beautiful modern spaces, wonderful gardens and lots of secluded spots for guests to enjoy the peace and breathtaking views. Breakfast was delicious with hot options cooked to order, and the dining room staff were friendly and efficient. We had dinner at the hotel twice in the week we stayed and the food was of a high standard; eating out on the terrace was a highlight. We loved coming back to the pool after hiking or exploring the island, or to enjoy a drink on our balcony overlooking the ocean. Ponta do Sol itself is more peaceful than many other places on the south coast but has several good places to eat and a popular pub, so most evenings we were able to eat in the village without having to drive. The lifts were all working properly. The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring all parts of the island as it is very close to the road which runs up to the mountains and the north coast. Having an indoor pool and sauna to use when the weather was chilly was a bonus. We had an amazing holiday and will be back to explore more of this wonderful island, a week wasn’t nearly enough!
