From where to start? The property is amazing. The pool, the gardens, the terrace, the room, everything was amazing and well decorated and also sparkling clean. The host, Ricardo, is an amazing person. He welcomed us with a bottle of rose wine on property’s amazing terrace. He offered us treats every night.We didn’t saw someone more carefully, perfectionist and attention at details person. He is such a kind man, he takes care of your stay to be perfect. Also, the breakfast prepared by Ricardo was perfect, tasty and colorful with a lovely plating. He also has great wines so you can enjoy an evening on the terrace. Thank you, Ricardo!🙏

Amazing staff, they will go the extra mile, we arrived at 1030 and got our room straight away. This property is extraordinary with the best gym I have seen in a hotel that category. Asian food restaurant was unique, the breakfast was fantastic. Great location for Sintra and Cascais. Very pet friendly, my dog loved his tipi. I sincerely recommend this quiet and beautiful place.

We LOVED the house, it was VERY well equipped with all the amenities that one would expect. The fact it was decorated as per the owners taste (and history) really made it feel EVEN MORE welcoming (NOT another cold or neutral AIRBNB.. with a minimal dab of art). Now note, it isn’t,a modern decoration with clean straight lines - it’s a getaway at your best friend’s parents’ house …if they were “Old Money” and classy!!

The historic building and furnishings were beautiful and inviting. The staff were very attentive and friendly. They were also able to provide information about the town and area that is not easily found because most of the staff live nearby but also have been working for the hotel for decades. The room was magical, with a balcony overlooking the ravine and at least 2 castles. The experience was surreal.

I had a fantastic stay. The palace is really interesting, historically and artistically. A real delight. It has an amazing blend of eclectic art / design / furniture etc , with the best technological facilities I've ever encountered.. brilliant. The hosts are super helpful and friendly.. Another important part of your experience here is "Charlie". He is the house dog and is absolutely the largest LARGEST Great Dane you have ever seen... I think 89 kg or 200 lbs!? The size of a small horse... His bark is very deep and loud.. but do not be afraid - he is also the most gentle, playful, happy dog you have ever met. Charlie will be so excited to greet you that he will bound towards you ..😆... Stay calm/ do not worry.. he is happy to see you! Charlie is a fabulous, handsome boy who enjoys a good pet/ scratch/ cuddle/massage. The palace is so lovely, you will not want to leave. It is located close to most attractions eg 20 minutes walk to the Quinta d Reguleira, and also to the many bars and restaurants for all your touristy needs.., and just beyond is the town with all the usual shops/ pharmacy etc where ALL the shopkeepers are also very happy to see you and help you with your needs/ purchases. A very good experience.

    A beautiful place in a secret hideaway in beautiful Sintra. Amazing space and was perfect to have our family around the pool, dining and lounge space. We felt very relaxed here for the four nights we stayed. The big room on the first floor was the perfect room for a bridal suite as I prepared for my wedding day, we couldn’t have picked a better spot.
