The host, Claudia, and the staff were so welcoming and helpful. The apartment complex and the gardens are beautiful. We especially enjoyed the tasty fruits we picked ourselves from the garden. The complex is located in a quiet village in the middle of the island, but close to all the main hikes/attractions/lakes. Only 15-20 minutes from Ponta Delgada. Very recommended.

The house is full of historical features including the wooden roof, the fire place and the flooring. The staff is amazing and caring. They were so welcoming and accommodating to our needs. On the last day, they even prepared us a breakfast to take away, since we had an early flight. The breakfast was delicious and I highly recommend to take it. There was always a large variety, both savory and sweet, fruit, cheeses, ham, etc. Everyday it was different, sometimes eggs with bacon, other times scrambled eggs and roasted veg. I definitely recommend anyone to stay in this wonderful place.

We had an amazing stay! We were 5 girls in the apartment and it was incredibly spacious, clean and tastefully decorated, with a great location by the beach. Breakfast was rich and had many choices. Well stocked kitchen and option to have your clothes washed by the staff. We forgot something in the apartment and they kindly offered to ship it. Cleaning was done every single day, any issues we had were handled immediately. All in all, we were so well taken care of, thank you!

Absolutely everything to love about Herdade do Ananás! We were welcomed by Hugo, the wonderful chef, accompanied by Nicole for a tour in the Pineapple greenhouses (she also gave us inside tips for our next stop in the Azores), and Edgar served us a wonderful breakfast! Of course the dreamy jacuzzi in the pineapple plantation is a dreamy detail. Recommended!!

Accommodation was excellent! Stunning view, modern equipment, very clean, and even a great balcony with a hot tub. Fully equipped kitchen and even a parking space. For us, this village is the most beautiful on the island. We highly recommend it!
