A beautiful family-owned guesthouse. The owners are incredibly friendly and will make you feel welcome right away. The son speaks English fluently so communication for non-Romanians is not a problem. The rooms are very clean and have nice views of the surrounding countryside. They also provide bike rental, which allows you to explore the surrounding villages and the wooden churches. The breakfast and dinner were delicious as well (I can still feel the taste of that amazing meatball soup). I was leaving Desesti on Sunday, when there are no buses running, so the owners helped to arrange a ride for me, which was an extremely nice gesture. Thank you for a lovely stay and I hope I will return back someday.
