We have been traveling through Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia for almost two months, when we decided to end our trip in Koh Chang. First we went to the West Coast, where we had plenty of bars, restaurants and such, but for our last stay we wanted a quiet, beachfront bungalow, where we can enjoy our last days of holiday. We couldn't have chose better, since Sunrise is all this, and much more! Just 8 bungalows (4 on the beach), with a very romantic look and feel, a red sand beach with a deserted feeling, and one of the best swimming pools I have seen in the last years. The restaurant is tiny, with 14 options for lunch and dinner and 6 options for breakfast... But what options! We tried 12 out of the 14 dishes on the menu, all traditional thai, and we were simply mesmerized! All of them were amazing, with a perfect balance between deliciousness and size. If I would have to recommend something, even though it is very hard to choose, I would say the cashew tamarind dish, the stir fried garlic and pepper sauce and the sweet and sour one. But that is not all. First of all, this was the first place in two months that served proper coffee as we have it at home - in a french press. Second, and probably the reason for which our stay went from good to exceptional - the host, Penh. She is so kind, so helpful and so friendly, and she helped us with advice, renting a car, getting a massage and so on. Thank you so much Penh for having us! The Chill was one of the best hotels I have stayed at due to the kind, friendly staff that made the stay with my young family so enjoyable. No requests too big or small, they do their best to help. Gorgeous view and lovely rooms. The breakfast was delicious and has a wide range available. Perfect location for me and my family, we will definitely return. Thank you! ❤️

the view from villa are amazing .. and the kindness of the owner .. he is very friendly and polite person .. the most important thing at the villa is the rooftop where you relax in jacuzzi and eating from the bbq place . 😋 . one ☝️ more thing the bed 🛏 is very comfortable for deep sleeping 💤 .

View from the room of the pool and bay is nice, and the peacocks hanging out on the patio were a beautiful surprise! Breakfast wasn’t a buffet - understandable due to low patronage, but they still had some variety (fresh salad, Thai dishes, continental breakfast) and a recommendation from the front desk manager - go to the pier where a small lounging area is set up, plenty of fish swimming around the pier area!

my favorite hotel on Koh Chang. I stay there every year. For me, the most ideal location in my opinion. Not far from lonely beach (5 minutes by bike, which can be rented at the hotel). Around the corner is a store that is open until 12 at night, a laundry and restaurants. The houses are located in a green garden, spaced apart from each other, which creates additional privacy. Very friendly staff). Ideal price-quality ratio. If you are a package tourist, then this hotel is unlikely to suit you.з

We had the pool villa, very nice. Big room, comfortable bed, effective AC, and a private outside area with our own pool and jacuzzi. Nice beach with bar and coffeeshop. Big pools, one is really good for swimming. The gym is good, have AC. Overall, a great stay.

    I really liked the space of the room and that there was a private beach for the resort. The resort was a relaxing and romantic atmosphere. I felt really comfortable and safe and I liked that it was clean. Staff were so friendly and room service was good , some things were reasonably priced.
