It was a lovely beautiful hotel and had a lovely and very comfortable stay at the Onsen at Moncham during our visit to Chiang Mai. It was very spacious rooms and most rooms have a private Onsen in them. The restaurant is fantastic and the food is delicious. The staff of the hotel goes beyond service to make the stay comfortable. I stayed with my elderly parents and 10 year old kid, and all enjoyed the place so much. Great hotel and a lovely and peaceful location to spend a couple of nights.

Villas were surrounded by beautiful lush greenery, felt like we were waking up in nature everyday. Grounds were very well maintained, loved the paddy fields and farm. Hotel staff and service exceeded expectations. Everyone knew and addressed us by our individual names, they went above and beyond to delight and make our stay special. I was also pregnant and they took extra care of me, going out of their way to ensure I was comfortable even while visiting attractions outside the hotel. Hotel also offered complimentary experiences like rice planting and buffalo bathing which added to the richness of our holiday and experience.

A rare find and a gem! An incredible spot with excellent hospitality from the hosts. We were a group of 6, though the Villa comfortably fits 8. Perfect for a relaxing rural getaway, we were attending a wedding in Mae Rim and spent most of the time enjoying the incredible paddy field views and the delicious breakfasts cooked by the hosts. The sunrise is worth waking up for, especially in December when the golden sky is reflected by the water. The villa is perfect for a group, 4 double bedroom of similar sizes, all with en suite bathrooms. Beautiful clean rooms each with idyllic views. The villa is set at the edge of the rice paddy fields. You can really tell the hosts put a lot of heart into the property. They do everything themselves and to high standard. James was very responsive to all our questions on WhatsApp, his family lives next door and he arranged transport for us to and from the villa. He’d bring us orange juice when he saw us in the coffee / breakfast area. Delicious cooked Asian and western breakfast every day at a time of your choosing. Laundry service is great, just put it outside the door and all done the next day. Fast internet, great hot water and pressure, TVs have Netflix. You can also easily get GrabFood meal deliveries delivered by motorbike to the house. All of us loved the stay and it’s by far the best villa I’ve experienced on this platform! Highly recommend. 10/10.

Everything was perfect. The pool is heated, the hotel is realy beautiful. Room was perfect size and we had one extra bed. Personal realy nice, they even gifted our children elephant key chains. They have nice free activities for children like making sope. We recomend this hotel to everyone

Loved the location in the old city and the private entrance from a small alleyway. The staff are very friendly and the whole place is well run and very clean and comfortable.     Breathtaking greenery, sound of water all day and night, cute ducks, and freely roaming beautiful peacocks (yes!). I woke up to one sitting at my balcony. Super friendly staff. Good food. Had a wonderful and relaxing spa experience on both days. Highly looking forward to going there again. It was a perfect solo getaway :)

    Lovely quiet and relaxing hotel with big bungalows. The room is comfortable, very spacious, originally decorated, there is a bath in the bathroom. The best in the hotel is the wonderful view on the rice fields from the room with sort of panoramic windows and everywhere at the hotel. As it is located in Mae Rim, it is not closed to Chiang Mai center (around 30 minutes by taxi), so very quiet and so peaceful. Staff is friendly. The restaurant is good and convenient if you don't want to go too far to have dinner.
