every single thing about our stay here was amazing. from the moment we arrived it was perfect. they had all the little details covered and we are now inspired and on a mission to stay at as many banyan trees around the world as we can. our room was magical, we decided we will design our next house similar with the pool right as you open the door you step out into it. we liked the fact that someone came and prepared our room for bed time. with a treat, mozzie trap, slippers by the bed and bed drawn back. such a sweet thing to do. our dinner was absolutely perfect. they let us pick which table we wanted during the day. it was my partners birthday and the waiter came with cake and sang happy birthday. he was so wonderful. the gym! wow wow wow. never seen a gym set up like this before. they even run sessions (trx, yoga ect). can’t recommend this place enough.

Everything from check-in to check-out was great. Excellent service across all hotel facilities, speed of service quality of food and presentations was outstanding. We stayed at the pool villa which had a complete privacy and we enjoyed a peaceful relaxing stay. The outdoor massage is highly recommended, the Thai restaurant was delicious and they have kids menu, which was a plus. Overall, outstanding hotel with gorgeous beach and facilities.

We stayed at Vic’s duplex for 2 weeks - 3 adults + 1 child - and we honestly loved it. The duplex is really big (much bigger than the photos make you think!) and it has all the real-life things that matter if you want to actually live like a human during a holiday: full kitchen setup, good coffee machine, plates, pans, fridge, everything. We cooked multiple times and never felt “limited”. Furniture and the duplex itself are in good solid condition - not brand new showroom shiny, but it feels clean, comfortable, taken-care-of, like someone cares enough to keep it nice. Beds were genuinely comfy. Showers were great. You also get full access to Angsana facilities: all the pools, beach beds, restaurants, kids club etc. Walking to the beach was like 5–7 minutes, super easy, and sometimes we took the lagoon shuttle (it’s actually fun). And most importantly - Ell, the property manager, is a GEM of a human. Kind, helpful, welcoming. She met us at arrival, explained things right away, helped us to organise bike rental, and even left complimentary snacks + fruit. That is the kind of hospitality that actually stays with you. Overall: we had a much better stay than we expected. It was smooth, comfortable, and honestly joyful. We would recommend it without hesitation - and we’ll definitely stay again next time we’re in Laguna. Thank you Vic and Ell!
