Lovely room, super clean, breakfast best we had on holiday, pool and gym lovely and the location was amazing. All the staff were really friendly and nice. If u turn left u are in the road to big sur and there is a beach on that road with lifeguard so really great. Only a 20 min walk from Carmel by the sea town which is fab with beautiful beach and sunset. Gem of a hotel.

Delightful. Front office staff was knowledgeable and pleasant. We enjoyed complimentary wine, cheese and fruit in front of the outdoor fireplace. The room was warmed by a fireplace and the soft warm robes were a treat. A basket filled with breakfast items was plentiful. The bed was very comfortable. Highly recommended.

fantastic views and fantastic staff. The restaurant had amazing views over the Pacific with wonderful food options. Upon checkout they collected our cases from our room and even place them inside our car without being asked which even involved opening the convertible top to fit one suitcase onto the backseat.. I would highly recommend this hotel

I stayed for a conference since the conference hotel was booked and I’m so glad I did. My room had a cozy fireplace and a stunning view of the bay. The whole property is charming, as are the staff. Plenty of nooks to settle into in the public areas, too, though I didn’t have time for that. This is a lovely inn, and I’ve already rebooked for next year.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Every single staff member was friendly and helpful. The grounds were beautiful with manicured plants and flowers, the rooms were spacious and quiet, and the place, in its entirety, was clean.

The location was perfect. It was within 10 minutes of everything we wanted to do in the area--the butterfly grove, good restaurants, the aquarium, Asilomar beach, and good coffee were all very close by. There were so many monarchs just outside our room and a small herd of black tailed deer frequented the property. The room was comfortable and spacious. Everything was clean. The privacy was lovely.

Clean and very comfortable. Looked like our room had been refurbished and was lots better thsn expected. Lots of roomy parking, room split into two for a family and was spacious.
