This place is a hidden gem. Check in and check out times (12) are great as some charge extra for this. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is tastefully decorated in Victorian style and seems well cared for, especially the plants! We love the spiral staircase leading to the roof top lounging area which has a full view of San Francisco all around. The continental breakfast is a feast supplying above and beyond the usuals until 11a.m. The garden area is also lovely and has a hot tub. We like that an envelope for tip is provided so that it gets shared out equally for staff! It is certainly located well, well for our needs anyway.

We arrived early at 11am after checking out of another hotel after the marathon… the girl at the desk couldnt have been nicer and more helpful…& even had the room ready by chance, which was amazing after the run! Fantastic experience! Lovely lobby/room and unlimited water bottles/flavoured water in lobby lovely touch

First off, the front desk lady was very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful room with a great view. Very close walking distance to the Union Square Christmas event! The bar on the 46th floor was such a great experience! What a great view! Thank you!

Everything was great at this hotel from the minute I arrived. Reception staff was friendly and efficient. Room was spacious, modern, really clean with kettle, microwave, free WiFi, comfy bed and lovely bathroom. Breakfast was delicious with many choices available and layout of food area was exceptional.
