It was exceptional. Attention to detail, spoils in the form of complementary champagne and coffee and rusks, the breakfast was delicious. The setting was incredibly beautiful with the freedom to explore and walk around. The woodfired hot tub was a treat and room furnished in style and comfort.

It's located a block from the Main Street which is a very easy and welcome stroll after dinner. Stunning establishment with treasures filling every corner - the pool area was private and relaxing and so beautifully curated. Evening drinks are served in the orangerie next to an open fire - really special. Breakfast was an absolute treat, served on bespoke ceramics, the setting was next level. Declan is a born host and runs this hotel with his team like a home away from home. This is not a great place to just drop in and sleep, you need time to enjoy the surrounds and the hospitality.

This property is located in a great suburb of Franschhoek and within walking distance from the town. The house is fantastically appointed and the pool and hot tub were hits with the children. It has a large entertainment area indoors as well for colder nights/bad weather. Ria was a great host!

When you select to book this style of accommodation its for a reason. Once upon a Dome was everything and more than we ever imagined. Fabian is on hand to greet you to starting the Hot tub and showing us around. Its such a great concept and everything was thought of. We stargazed until it started raining so got to experience nature in its entirety. We Spent time on the Chill Net and in the Hot Tub. We were lucky with perfect weather. Loved the bathroom design with a 'garage door' that allows an open air setup. Nevermind the pop up tv screen at the end of your bed. Well done Once Upon A Dome. You have created a magical concept.

Stunning location overlook Franschoek with everything you need from a self-catering cottage for the family. Loved the equestrian themed decor and homely feel of the place. Wifi worked fine and pool is small but perfect for a cooling dip. We actually moved from another place down the road which was terrible so finding Courcheval was just what we needed. Would definitely stay again.
