This historic property was built in 1906 and has been refurbished to highlight the original fireplaces and stained glass windows. Lovely boutique hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, tasteful with a beautiful view. Teatime cakes were a pleasant touch, breakfast was nice.

This was an outstanding home for our 6 night stay in Hobart. The location is on a quiet street outside the city, which was perfect for us. The views looking over the bay towards Hobart, Mount Wellington, the sunsets, and the twinkling city lights were amazing. The living area is huge with a large dining table and 2 separate seating areas, one with a massive TV. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean. This is a home, not an apartment, so all the rooms are quite large. The bed was comfortable (we didn't use the downstairs bedroom), and the bathroom was very functional. Host was very communicative and friendly. Easy parking on the street in front of the house. Lots of restaurants and shops just a few minutes away by car. A great place to stay.

The kitchen was very well stocked. It had everything and more than what we could have needed. From serving trays, knifes, various glassware and serve ware, and some basic food items in the pantry and fridge! The beds, linen, and couches were very comfortable. Every nook and cranny was exceptionally clean. The house was bigger than the pictures let on! The hosts were incredible. Very helpful and kind. During our stay the batteries died in a remote and we messaged the host. Batteries were delivered unobtrusively and promptly. I also left a precious ring at the property and did not discover this until some time after our stay. I messaged the host and they searched high and low for it, found it, and upon the ring being returned to me they even gave me a little gift (it really should have been the other way around). They went above and beyond!

It was so comfortable that the kids didn't want to leave each morning to explore southern Tasmania. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner and the BBQ area outside was perfect for our evening meals. We all enjoyed the jacuzzi at night before bed. The computer in the living room was helpful for googling places to go. The home is tastefully decorated and feels incredibly cozy. The property owner, Michael, was very helpful and welcoming. The home is just down the street from a fantastic French patisserie and Kmart/Coles are just a five minute ride down the road for picking up any necessities. All in all, this is a perfect place to make your home base in Hobart!
