What a fantastic hotel and a great location in Launie. The hotel room was very clean spacious, with beautiful decor - fixtures and fittings. All modern and quite sleek - so much more than we were expecting. Especially the bathroom! Was very comfortable and again modern, features like the TV and channels etc. were fantastic to relax. Appreciated that during our stay there was availability to park on-site too.
Beautiful historic house with tastefully decorated and luxurious rooms. Wonderful views from balcony. Spa bath. Selection of books and DVDs. Gorgeous lounge / dining room with generous breakfast provided. Very quiet, private and comfortable. Easy check in. Close to all Launceston attractions. Hosts have put a lot of thought into the guest experience.
Excellent property. Very clean. Spacious. Very well furnished. Great lounge, bedrooms, toilet/ bathroom. Very modern kitchen. Will definitely rebook this property if visiting.
Felt spacious and very private. The location was amazing. Layout of the room was particularly good. Seperate space for suitcases etc. roomy bathroom. Huge tv with suitable screening apps. Lovely relaxing, lounging foyer. Short walk to everything.
Breathtaking view from balcony and living areas and from bathroom! Extra large shower recess, comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen with lovely crockery. View was really magnificent and relaxing to sit out on large balcony on the lounger and read.
Light & spacious chalet accommodation with a beautiful water view. Kitchen & bathroom facilities as well as a washing machine much appreciated as well as little thoughtful touches such as facial wipes, boxes of tissues & quality toiletries. Comfortable king bed & comfortable lounge furniture. We found a convenient spot for exploring the Tamar Velley & beyond. We really loved staying here.
The authentic nature of the property with its heritage status. Beds were comfortable. And the spa bath relaxing.
The food was amazing, however a little slow. Also I didn't like the closeness to other people while eating. We sat on the bench seat & single chair and very close to another couple, however that really wasn't necessary as there was plenty of room to have more space between guests. I also would have liked to have some bubble bath for the bath and the old fashioned bar of soap
Heritage style which is a nice change from the traditional hotel. Spacious room with spa style bath. A dining, relaxation room that encourages mixing with other guests. Well thought out breakfast basket.
