Everything is perfect with attention to detail down to the smallest of items. We loved the above and beyond creature comforts that made this stay even more comfortable, including an espresso maker, fresh cookies and a homemade almond cake. Perfect location for a casual stroll, admiring other Victorian-esque homes and stunning water views in the beautiful Battery Pointe neighborhood with several coffee shops within a few blocks and the Salamanca market within a 10 minute walk. The view from the colored, glass pans was surreal. The bed was very comfortable and conducive to a fantastic night’s sleep. Property is the perfect size with under 10 rooms which allows for an intimate and personal staycation. Whether focused on admin work, sightseeing, or an intimate affair, the Grande Vue is your home away from home. The owner, Ash, helps in all ways possible. For us, he helped turned a disastrous start to a Tasmanian adventure with lost luggage that was later coupled with a medical emergency into a cozy and relaxing environment where we could conquers challenges in a relaxed way. Can’t say enough about our stay here. Looking forward to staying here again when we come back to complete our Tassie adventure.
