This historic property was built in 1906 and has been refurbished to highlight the original fireplaces and stained glass windows. The accommodation is beautiful. I don't think you can get much better. There are so many fine details in the decor, the rooms, the amenities. The location is perfect. If you are staying in Hobart, this is the perfect stay.

Pelican Sands Scamander is located on the waterfront where the Scamander River meets the oceanfront on the mid north-east coast of Tasmania. The location is next to the beach, open the door to the deck & its there, sat in the morning sun for a coffee, beautiful! Kayaks were available free. The bed was very, very comfy. The room was large & loverly. Walking distance to some eateries.

Perfect place to relax and be in the middle of nature. The cabin has everything you need with a spa bath. The hosts really pay attention to details such as supplying a variety of wines for an extra fee. The atmosphere here is magical and I really hope to stay here again! Keep up the good work!!
