The chalet was beautiful and much larger than pictured. Incredible location with amazing views of the town and mountains. The host was extremely helpful and easy to work with. Will definitely stay here again.

The location was really great with a wonderful view of the mountains and the lake. Owner was super helpful and communicative, the place was stylish, high quality and very clean. We loved the hot tub, but if you are heating it from cold it will take about 3 hours… however once it’s hot it will be warm enough the next evening to use it without heating up again.

Built in a typical Swiss chalet style, Hotel Restaurant Bänklialp is just 500 meters from the centre of Engelberg. It offers rooms with a balcony, free Wi-Fi in public areas. Helpful and friendly staff. Location right by the bus stop and train station. Excellent Restaurant.

This small hotel feels very cosy, and the staff is very friendly. The location is excellent - near to the train station but very quiet. Very nice mountain view from the balcony. I specially enjoyed the kitchenette in the room.

It was very clean and can be reached by free shuttle bus, great for campers with no cars. Stuff were all very nice. On-site shop provides fresh bread selections!
