We had a fantastic stay! The staff was friendly, the breakfast really tasty and bed comfortable. Having the possibility to go to the SPA and afterwards sit on the balcony and enjoy the view, was relaxing! The rooms are soundproof, so we were not disturbed by any noise. As well, not to forget about the free underground packing! We will definitely book this hotel again for our future trip.

Our guests are more than welcome to take advantage of the wellness and pool on the day of arrival (before check-in time) and departure (after check-out time). On request and for an extra charge, massages can be organised, as well. The hotel was great , very traditional and comfortable décor . it was actually better than expected as the photos don't really do it justice , especially the pool etc . we had a great view of Zermatt from our 3rd floor balcony . breakfast was also great .

We loved our stay at Alpen Resort & Spa! Thanks for the upgrade to a room with a wonderful view of the Matterhorn! We really enjoyed the outdoor whirlpool and all the other spa facilities as well. The hotel is close to all the shops and restaurants in Zermatt. Accommodating staff. Afternoon cake and tea. We could use the spa during our last day as well which was very convenient as our train back was leaving in the evening.

The property was beautiful, the rooms were clean, with good space and modern. The staff were amazing, everyone especially Dani was incredibly kind and helpful. Also, the Umami restaurant had amazing food and the buffet breakfast was great.

Huge rooms and bathroom you could hold a party in! Only downside was it was not en-suite but across the hall - only for us which was fine but going to the loo in the night was an adventure. But wouldn’t put me off staying again. And great breakfast too.

Property is located close to the city center with restaurants and a grocery store. The views from our balcony in the front of the hotel were fantastic. Really enjoyed the atmosphere of a small village versus a large city or town. If you want to get away from the multitude of tourists this is the place.
