Built in 1915 and representing an important part of the historical heritage of Lausanne, the Lausanne Palace is an elegant 5-star hotel in the heart of the business and shopping district. Attentive staff in a luxuriously appointed hotel and rooms. Very good with kids. Their room had special treats for them etc. Made the stay feel very special. The spa and pool was a lovely surprise.

The photos on the app don’t give this place justice. Fabulously renovated rooms with nice amenities such as locally made soaps and such, a Nespresso machine, robes and slippers. There is a pool and the hosts make you feel at home.

Audrey and Philippe are such wonderful hosts, we felt right at home! We came with 3 bikes doing a larger bike trek, and it was great to be able to store our bikes in the garage (and pump up the tires), have a great meal (both for dinner and breakfast) with produce and dairy from the region, adjusted to one of our vegetarian diets, and enjoy their company and hospitality. We also really enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi as a way to relax after a long day of cycling. The village is pretty, and it's perfectly located along different outdoor routes (hiking/cycling). We stayed in the dortoir, which was exactly what we wanted! Many thanks.

Everything was just lovely. So helpful. Free travel card and discounts to attractions. Lovely position almost on the lake. Staff delighful. The most amazing suite with two of everything, two TVs, two sinks, two rooms, two toilets, two double wardrobes, two sofas, two tables, two balconies and even two big proper keys, with those old fashioned tassles. Old lovely hotel with new ideas. so good, so good, so good!

Le Mirador Resort & Spa is a 5-star luxury hotel with panoramic views over Lake Geneva, the Alps, and the Rhone Valley. The view is amazing! We could spend quite a bit of time there without wanting to change hotels. Breakfast is delicious, with lots of variety.

The 5-star Chalet RoyAlp Hôtel & Spa offers direct access to the ski slopes in winter and to the Villars Golf Club in summer. You can ski right to and from the front door. The surroundings, the nature, the traditional rooms with lots of wooden windows, the breakfast, the birds chirping day and night, the quietness, the team’s hospitality….everything was great!

The majestic Victoria Hotel can be found in Glion above Montreux (connected by funicular) and is renowned for its breathtaking views of Lake Geneva and the snow-capped Alps. This is a wonderful privately owned and operated hotel. It makes a change from the sameness of the multiples. Waiters are in white jackets and bows with excellent customer service. The location itself is a little village in its own right up a steep hill overlooking Montreux and the lake. The view in the morning is the most magnificent view I have ever had while enjoying breakfast. Staff are friendly, especially Jasmine, on reception. This hotel represents old world values in the best possible sense.
