The house is beautifully decorated, in an extremely quiet lot where you can hear the birds singing. The house was exceptionally clean, and the hosts Felix and Martha are the kindest we’ve encountered. They were very flexible with our early check-in and late check-out. Martha’s breakfast was AMAZING every day with a nice spread of everything. We would definitely come back and we highly recommend Casa Luna!

The food was also a hot topic. Very elaborate dishes and so beautifully presented. I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends.

The property is out of the way but beautiful, the staff make it exceptional. After coming from a hostel where the staff didn’t want to help us at all, the staff here organised a taxi to come and collect us, let us check in early and even had a bottle of wine waiting in our room for us. We enjoyed the pool and the many animals wandering around. We left early in the morning to go to the salt flats and they organised a little packed breakfast to take with us and gave us hot water for tea in the morning. Bed was super comfy and the room was spotless. 1000% recommend.

My partner and I stayed in Hostal Katarpe from 25-27 December. We seen two ladies, I think one is the manager and one is the assistant. Both are very lovely and friendly people. The location is ideal for transfers, tours and walking into the main town. It’s close by shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is very lovely and aesthetically pleasing with a wood and beige theme. It has a nice outdoor seating area as well as comfy beds and blankets. The room was cleaned everyday. I have no complaints about the room. The manager helped us with recommendations on what to do in Atacama and explained things on a map as well as providing local knowledge and recommendation on bus companies for our onwards travel. She facilitated our clothes being washed for a fair price despite us asking last minute and had it done on the same day! She was extremely friendly and helpful and let us use one of the car parking spaces. In addition to this she ensured we had a packed breakfast each morning with water and snacks catering to dietary requirements because we were going to be out on tours from early on and miss breakfast. She even went above expectation allowing us to leave the rental car after check out and offering us a shower after check out due to us being on tours I can’t thank the staff enough for their amazing helpful attitude and would 100% recommend a stay here in this hostel.
