Just a few minutes walk to the plaza, restaurants and taxi stand. Bus station is about 5 minutes. The staff were exceptionally helpful over the phone and during our stay.

If you want to stay in the heart of the Elqui Valley and be nearly as remote as one can be while still having incredible WiFi - this is the spot! We spent one night here but should have booked more. The only tricky piece about this spot is getting here off the main road. While it isn’t a far distance you really should have 4WD. The road is tight and severe switchbacks. You also need to bring in food with you especially if you don’t have a car. Each unit is exquisitely designed to allow you to cook dinners indoors or out with a regular sized fridge and freezer to boot. To say this place is magical might be a vast understatement. We spent the late afternoon hiking up to the scenic lookout (although each unit has its own incredible views and privacy for late nights in the hot tub). We spent the next 2 hours by the pool which given how hot it is actually had cool water for swimming and lovely shaded lounge chairs. We brought in drinks and a pizza with us for our evening and it was perfect. We turned off all the lights and just sat outside watching the moon rise over the mountains as the sunset. After we spent hours soaking in the hotel tub watching more stars appear in the sky. Just magical! The interior is well appointed too with great bedding, linens, towels and vegan shower products that smelled and felt like luxury after having traveled for so long. For breakfast the following morning, we were brought a delicious selection of fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, croissants, cheese and more! Each unit it also outfitted with a tea pot, tea, a moka coffee maker and ground coffee! If we ever have the chance to come back to the Elqui Valley we will 1000% book this spot again! Also - be sure when in the area to book the 3 hours tour and wine tasting at vinedos de alcohauz! The guide essentially gave us the entire history of the area from different stops along the tour that changes in elevation 5 times! The vineyard is magnificent.

El lugar es muy lindo e ideal para el descanso. Alejandro, el anfitrión, fue muy cordial, mostrando excelente predisposición para hacer nuestra estancia más placentera y dándonos sugerencias muy útiles. Un desayuno impecable! Nada que reprochar! Organica Lodge Hotel Boutique está ubicado en Vicuña y ofrece alojamiento con vistas a la montaña, una pileta al aire libre en temporada, un jardín, salón compartido y una terraza. El Sr muy amable, cabaña muy acogedora lo justo y necesario para un buen descanso ! Desayuno maravilloso.

El Solar de los Madariaga ofrece conexión wifi gratis, desayuno gratuito y alojamiento en una casa solariega totalmente reformada de 140 años de antigüedad en Vicuña. Excelente lugar, desde las instalaciones, atención del personal, ubicación... quedamos encantados y volveremos pronto 🙂

El Hotel El Milagro se encuentra en una de las primeras casas patrimoniales de la zona, construida alrededor de 1910. La ubicación y lo tranquilo del lugar, ademas de la atención del personal y la buena disposición de cada uno de ellos...un diez de diez el lugar.

Nestled in a large garden, the accommodation is extremely quite and perfect for watching stars. There is a BBQ that can be used free of charge, and the kitchen is well equipped. The Tinaja (hot tub) can be used at an extra price and is a great experience. Michael was a very welcoming Hosts, with plenty of tips and suggestions on what to do in the area.
