My flight got cancelled.. picked this place on a whim to sleep.. like all the others reviewers say, 1st impression on arrival was where am I.. but after checking in.. it was great.. the couple owners was beyond nice.. took the time to help me order food cause we were hungry.. brought up to our room.. Place is very clean, nice decor. Was alittle cold.. But the hospitality made up for minor flaws. They also held our luggages while we were checking out Shanghai.. It was a great cancellation.. reccomended to stay here on a whim. .

Branded amenities, bathrobes and slippers are provided for your comfort. Great location. The room and service exceeded my expectations. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The butler service is excellent. I would stay here again next time. Highly recommend it.

Super experience. All went well.

Convenient guest services like currency exchange, meeting facilities and ticketing services are all provided. I’m surprised to see the negative reviews as we had a great stay here. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment that was very spacious and well appointed. The location is so convenient and walking distance to the Metro (line 2). There is a great kids play area and supermarket in the centre plus many other good restaurants.

The art-deco-accented rooms feature panoramic city views through the floor-to-ceiling windows. All rooms are fitted with a minibar, a seating area and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. The ample bathrooms include free toiletries, hairdryers and shower facilities.

Guests can laze in the sauna, pampering themselves with massage treatments, or use the business centre and meeting rooms. Robin at the reception was so excellent, so helpful! He helped us patiently download the relevant Apps for taxis, etc. Thanks, Robin!!! All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great Western breakfast as well. Location is in the centre of Pudong near all the wonderful attractions.

Gorgeous property in a great location. Staff was incredibly patient and kind. They went out of their way to find some packages my aunt had sent me without a room number on them. The complimentary juice and wontons were delicious! Housekeeping was lovely too.

I was greeted like a VIP 😊 The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong offers a luxurious urban retreat with breathtaking views of the Huangpu River and The Bund. Guests can enjoy premium amenities, including an indoor pool and a world-class spa. The hotel itself exudes luxury and comfort — you feel completely at home. Their customer service is absolutely outstanding!!! I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the hotel staff for treating me like a VIP, for every little detail and thoughtful touch. The hotel gave me exclusive gifts, noticed subtle details in my look, and wrote me warm wishes that brought tears to my eyes! I highly recommend this hotel — if you are in Shanghai, this is the only place to stay. You won’t regret it!
