The hotel staff was always very friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable and clean.

Alto Prado is a contemporary 5-star hotel situated in Barranquilla´s exclusive country club district. It offers stylish rooms with free Wi-Fi and an outdoor pool with panoramic city views. The food is just awesome. You can also tell how everybody loves the food during breakfast. It is just delicious. I regret that they only offered arepa e huevo the last day, bc they were the best I have ever had!!!!

Our stay was significantly impacted by several issues. The undisclosed indoor camera in the hallway, positioned above the front door, felt intrusive and was particularly unsettling. Furthermore, the bathrooms were problematic: one toilet consistently backflowed instead of flushing properly, and both were excessively noisy. The mattresses were old, dirty, and uncomfortable, detracting significantly from our comfort. While the apartment boasts an amazing view and the building itself is very comfortable, the interior furnishings are dated. The presence of 1990s-era furniture, including an old DVD player, and a non-smart TV in the living room meant there was no option for streaming music or entertainment, which felt out of step with modern expectations. This apartment has strong potential, but these issues considerably hindered our experience.

Made sure Jackie was there to receive us upon our arrival. Felt like we had everything we needed at our fingertips. Attention to detail in the spot, above and beyond service! Quality furniture, appliances, AC, beds/sheets, etc. All top notch especially for this part of Colombia, a lovely find and hope to go back! Five adults, two kids (who loved the bunk beds), our pet dog, had room to spare.
