Very romantic with great desert views and a gorgeous pool. The staff was amazing and had great attention to detail. Highly recommend staying at least 2 nights to be sure to see the stars and enjoy a full day with the guide provided by the hotel. Also appreciated that they sent the guide to show us the way to the hotel once we arrived at villavieja. Would stay again.

It was really cool to be out in the middle of nowhere in the desert. The hotel is very rustic and located on a functioning ranch with cows and horses and everything. It is also walking distance from the two grey desert hiking trails. The owner was really friendly and fun to chat with as well as helpful with anything we needed. The food was also some of the best hotel food we’ve had.

That's all.obviously it's the best, most romantic,best food, mas tranquilo, place and the staff treat you like you are important and are so sweet, the massage was awesome too. Our second time and we'll be back next year. San Agustin and Masaya are a tradition for us. Unforgettable.

The food is amazing (vegetarian options available, try the tomato soup), the staff is extremely helpful and friendly and our room (which really was a house) was just perfect. There is an outdoor kitchen you can use. We felt so comfortable that we didn’t want to leave in the end :)
